ABOUT FIRE & SAFETY SYSTEMS CO:
Fire & Safety Systems Co. was formed on March 1, 1981.
The State of New Jersey has experienced significant fire and fire related deaths within the past 50 years, but it was two major fires in Monmouth County with multiple fatalities that would be the impetus for former fireman Michael Maxwell to create Fire & Safety Systems: The Brinley Inn fire in Bradley Beach in 1980, which resulted in the deaths of 24 people, and the Beachview Rest Home fire in Keansburg in 1981 which resulted in the deaths of 31 people. These two tragedies would bring about sweeping changes in fire prevention in New Jersey and eventually throughout the rest of the United States.
From day one, it has been our intention to provide the general public with the most technologically advanced and cost effective fire suppression systems and the highest quality services that the industry can provide.
We continue to look to have an impact on fire and life safety through our quality workmanship and engineering; maintaining the standard we have become known for over the past 35 years.
We thank you for the opportunity to service your fire protection needs..
In memory of our founder Michael P. Maxwell
